Our children right here in the U.S., every day, are fighting a huge battle against their little bodies, a battle that most don't win. Children who are suffering from cancers are given the most aggressive treatment that their little bodies can possibly tolerate in the hopes that a few will survive. But the odds are simply not good enough. They are being sent to a “war” they cannot win. They are not just another number that should be added to statistics every year. Just because they are extremely sick or diagnosed with something that could be terminal, doesn't mean that they should be outcast or not thought to be of importance in our society, country or even our world. We are suppose to be the richest country in the world.(9/30/08 update, not the richest country anymore) I say Show Me!
