We are having a CONTEST!! Pledges are coming in. Nathen's Nana, that's me, is collecting pledges. We have two sides to this...pledges to have my hair shaved the day of the benefit, and pledges from those who wish me to keep my hair. If the pledges are higher for shaving the head by 6:00 pm Sun Dec 2nd, I will be getting my head shaved right there at the benefit! Here are the recent standings:

NOTE: I have had 2 to 3 thousand hits on my site in the last few days. Just think how much we would of have raised for Nathen if everyone would just plege $1 each! Nathen is in need of his operation right now. We need to take care of our children here. Everyday we spend money in trying to keep children safe, what about the ones who need to be kept alive? We are not asking anyone to support a cause here, we are supporting a life!

BTW Luana, my best friend said that if I do get my head shaved, she will make me some little hats like she did for Nathen!

 

Elite Barber Shop on Gandy Blvd. will be making a trip with me Monday am, if I have to shave my head, to 98 Rock's Studio where the shaving will take place. It will be taped and shown on their web site and perhaps a follow up with Bay News 9.

 

And if my hair is cut and shaved it will be going to Locks of Love to help another medical disadvantaged child.

 

$600 will go to the winning pledges. If someone pledges and does not care or state what side they want the pledges to go to, then it goes into this pot here. It is saying "I am making a donation to Nathen no matter what happens". Thanks Everyone!
