This weblog is our online journal of our 2 yr old little man
Nathen, that we call "Nathen's Journey". All for hope (inspiration) and
faith (prayers) for him a chance at life. You'll find personal information
that is being logged as often as possible since finding out about our son's illness, stage 4 neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer in children and most aggressive. There will be links to articles and items of interest on
the web that you may find interesting on the subject.

Nathen is having another surgery very soon and is
undergoing extensive chemo and other treatments to rid
the cancer from his small body. We still have a long way to go.

Our children right here in the U.S., every day, are fighting
a huge battle against their little bodies, a battle that most
don't win. Children who are suffering from cancers are
given the most aggressive treatment that their little bodies can possibly tolerate in the hopes that a few will survive. But the odds are simply not good enough. They are being sent to a “war” they cannot win. They are not just another number that should be added to statistics every year. Just because they are extremely sick or diagnosed with something that could be terminal, doesn't mean that they should be outcast or not thought to be of importance in our society, country or even our world. We are suppose to be the richest country in the world. I say Show Me! Please Write your representatives in Congress and urge them to support research for pediatric cancer. Do it, do it as it could be your child next!

Thank you to everyone for your support in helping
with Nathen's surgery. We still do not have everything
covered as Nathen's progress in getting better is and
has been an every day struggle and ongoing. Any and
all help is appreciated. We will soon have a foundation
that we will be going through to help in making
everyone's donation tax deductible that need it to
