My Info
My father is Chris Trueblood and my mother is Amanda Camp. I was born August 20, 2005. I turned 2 years old this past August. My mother was born and raised in Tampa Florida and my father in Lawton Oklahoma.
My favorite cartoon is Curious George and I love to play with cell phones and all phones.
I cannot have gifts that are furry right now, like stuffed animals as they can carry germs and I am very susceptible to sickness during my chemotherapy and unable to fight off illness.
I have been in the hospital since July 2007. In early 2007 I broke my leg and shortly after the doctor took the cast off, I began to limp. I was also running fevers, which is sometimes normal with little kids my age. My mommy took me to the doctor a few times to see if my leg was not healed, but the doctors could not find anything wrong. Then in July they gave mommy and daddy the bad news. I had stage 4 neuroblastoma.
I now reside at the Ronald Mc Donald House in New York thanks to all the wonderful people's support & prayers. I had my surgery on Feb 14, 2008 and as of today Feb 17th I am in the ICU at Sloan Kettering and will be here til the end of next week.

Nathen was Diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer in small chidren and the most aggressive. Chances of survial for a child in stage 4 our about 30% to 40%, but there is a hope in the research and treatments that are coming out, that will soon bring that percentage up. As of today, there are a few states that have doctors that are administering these different types of treatments that are helping children with neuroblastoma.
